Important Information

Contract overview

  • Prior to the session all clients are required to sign a contract electronically. There is a 40% NON-REFUNDABLE deposit to secure the clients spot. The payment MUST be made before any planning (if needed) for the shoot starts. The deposit will go towards the total package.

  • The client agrees to arrive fully dressed in their first outfit.

  • For every 15 minutes the client is late, an additional fee of $10 will be added to their remanding total and may result in a cancellation if a appointment is scheduled after them. If 30 minutes goes by and the client has not arrived to the location (unless otherwise stated), their appointment will be canceled, and they will need to pay any late fees up until that point.

  • Locations further than 30 minutes from my house may result in an additional fee.

  • The photographer is not responsible for any missing, damaged, or altered clothing/material belonging to the client. The photographer is not responsible for styling, hair, makeup issues, or any other factors in photography other than the directing and photography of the client.

  • I DO NOT send raw images, nor will every image from your session be included in your proof selection.

  • It is understood and agreed that no other photographer will be allowed to photograph, or take pictures while the photographer is working. Family and friends shall be permitted to photograph using mobile phones only either before, and/or after so that it does not interfere with the Photographer’s duties.

  • Ages 17 years or younger will require a parent, or guardian signature.

    How much do you charge?

  • My rates vary depending on what the client is looking for. Please send me an email with what you are interested in having done and I will get to you at my earliest convivence with a quote.

    How will I receive my images?

    Proofs & edited images If you are being photographed on digital, proofs will be sent digitally to your email through a site called “Pixieset”, and should only be used as a reference to choose your images. Retouching begins once proofs are selected. Failure to choose your proofs within the given time period will result in a delayed process of receiving your photos. Posting unedited pictures will result as a breach of contact. Additional pictures are available upon request with a separate charge. If you are being photographed on film, there are no proofs. Therefore, the final images will be sent through a file to your email.

    Something came up, can I reschedule?

  • You can reschedule once for another day for personal reasons, or because of the weather as long as it works for the photographer. If it happens again additional fees may apply, or your session may be canceled.

    Do you own a studio?

  • I do not own a studio (yet). However, I do have a few recommendations. Cost of location permits for shooting, availability, and the choosing of the location is the responsibility of the client.

    Can i get my images sooner?

  • For film, no. The film is sent off to be developed since I do not develop my own at this time. For digital, yes if I am able to do so. It will however be an additional fee. Please contact me at least 3 weeks in advance so that you can make reservations for studios if needed.

    I don’t like my pictures. Can I get a refund?

  • If the client is being photographed on digital, REFUNDS are only available if the client lets the photographer know that they are not satisfied with the photos before any retouching/editing is made and only if the photographer agrees that it is appropriate. In the event of an emergency, equipment failure, or another unforeseen circumstance, the photographer will return any money given up to that point, but claims no further liability. Similar rules apply if you are being photographed on film and will be explained in your contract.

    since we are in a pandemic, how can i be sure i’ll be safe while working with you?

  • COVID-19 If you have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 3 weeks, please get tested before booking. I care about my safety, and the safety of my clients. I will not meet with you if I am experiencing any symptoms. I will also be sure to wear a mask.

    can i scheudle a time to speak with you?

  • If you would like to schedule a time to speak to me over the phone, please let me know that through email after you have answered all questions in detail. I will be available to speak to you over the phone between 8am-8pm.

    What payment methods do you accept?

  • I accept PayPal & Venmo. I can be found through my email: proctordeja1@gmail.com on PayPal and through @dlproctor on Venmo. If you are sending money though PayPal please send it as a “friend, or family member” only so that I do not get charged a fee. The remaining balance can be paid in cash, but I would prefer you to send it through one of my preferred payment methods. If you do not see another payment method listed it means I do not accept it.
